• Timings: The zones are open for visitors from 06 AM TO 09 AM and 03 PM to 06 PM. Kindly note the safari timings before planning the safari trip.
• Permits: A Booking receipt & Hard copy of Government ID proof for all tourist is required to enter the zone. Only a limited number of vehicles are allowed in the zone at a time, so it’s best to book your safari in advance.
• Vehicle: Only four-wheel drive vehicles are allowed. Only six vehicles are allowed for day to enter Grassland Zones for safari. The maximum number of passengers allowed in a vehicle is six for 7 seater vehicle and 4 for 5 seater vehicle including the driver.
• Speed: Vehicles allowed to enter should not exceed a speed of 20 KM per hour.
• Guide: A trained naturalist or guide is mandatory on all safaris (Allotted by Forest Department). The guide will help you spot wildlife and ensure that you follow the park’s rules and regulations.
• Noise: Visitors are expected to maintain silence during the safari to avoid disturbing the animals. No noise from music systems, Mobile phones, Vehicle horns are allowed.
• Littering: Littering is strictly prohibited inside the forest. Visitors are expected to carry all their trash with them and dispose of it outside the forest.
• Feeding: Feeding the animals is strictly prohibited and can attract dangerous animals towards the vehicles.
• Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the forest as it can cause wildfires.
• Photography: Photography is allowed inside the forest, but using flash or spotlights is prohibited. It’s important to respect the privacy of the animals and avoid getting too close to them. It is mandatory to keep a minimum distance of 50 meters from any wildlife, in case any wild animal comes near your vehicle, please do not move your vehicle, instead stay stationary and give passage to the wild animal.
• Safari Route: Vehicles and visitors are not allowed to change the route marked by the forest department in each zone. Guide and tourists are not allowed to come down from the vehicle without prior permission from Forest officials.
• Fines for violation of Rules by Tourist: Violation of any of the above restrictions will be penalized by a fine not less than Rs. 5000/- and may extend up to Rs. 10,000/-
